POWER WASHING
Power washing for Denver metro exteriors
Commercial-grade pressure washing for the dirt, mold and weather on Denver metro exteriors.
What a Colorado winter leaves on your exterior
A Denver exterior collects three kinds of dirt. Road and yard grit settles in as a grey film. Algae and mold take hold wherever shade and moisture meet: north walls, under eaves, the damp edge of a porch. Weather staining streaks down from gutters, rust and hard water. Concrete soaks all of it up, and a slick green driveway is a slip hazard before it is an eyesore.
Freeze-thaw makes it worse. Water sits in the surface pores, freezes and expands, and the roughened concrete gives next season’s mud and algae more to hold onto. Spring is when the damage shows, once the snow melts and the driveway, patio and porch finally dry out.
A hardware-store washer can clear some of it, but a narrow tip held too close etches stripes into concrete and drives water behind siding. Pressure and distance matter as much as the machine does.

How TJ’s runs a wash
TJ’s power washes with commercial-grade equipment, built for the dirt, mold and weather that exteriors in the Denver metro area pick up. It is a different class of machine from the consumer unit in a garage, and it lets the work be done at a controlled pressure instead of brute force.
The work covers the same surfaces TJ’s handles for natural stone: the patio, the porch and the driveway. Where the surface is stone, the natural stone service applies, with a very mild detergent used alongside the right power washing system.
No power washing price is listed, since size and buildup vary from one exterior to the next. Pricing is quoted on the contact page or by phone at 303-400-6961, for Denver, East Denver, Aurora and the surrounding metro. The truck wears a van wrap that reads “TJ’s Power Washing” and runs on solar power.
Timing it, and what to do afterward
Spring is the natural time to wash, once the last hard freeze has passed and surfaces can dry out fully. Fall works too, clearing leaf tannin before it sets into the concrete.
A drying surface often looks patchy before it evens out, so judge the result after it has dried. Sealing is a separate step from washing, and it belongs only on a surface that is completely clean and dry.
Do the exterior before the interior. Grit tracked in from a muddy porch ends up in the entry carpet, and a clean threshold keeps that carpet clean longer. TJ’s cleans carpet and upholstery too, so ask about both when you call 303-400-6961.
All workmanship is guaranteed up to 15 days. Power washing is quoted by phone at 303-400-6961 or on the contact page.
